A1: No, they are not waterproof but have moderate moisture resistance. They work in normal humidity (≤80% RH) but avoid bathrooms, kitchens, or direct water contact. In basements, use a ventilated frame installation.

 

Q2: Do they provide sound insulation? What is the difference between sound absorption and insulation?

A2: No, they are for sound absorption (reducing echo and reverberation), not insulation (blocking sound transmission). Their NRC is 0.7-0.9 (thicker = higher). For insulation, combine with dense materials.

 

Q3: How to clean and maintain them?
